Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/20/23

Small craft advisories will turn into gale warnings with heavy rain so I don’t think there will be much fishing for the next few days. I spent some time outside on Monday and it was darn cold.

The only Monday fishing report I had was from Old Inlet Bait and Tackle. They said a small group of dedicated anglers caught a few keeper tog at the Inlet on sand fleas and green crabs.

My friend Dan Neumann fished with his friends out of Kent Narrows, Maryland on the Tuna the Tide with Captain Mark Galasso. They all caught their 2-fish limit of striped bass between 19 and 30 inches by jigging and trolling.

During better weather, Jim Osborne fished the Outer Wall and caught 40 tog with two keepers. This seems to be the pattern for tog at the inlet and the in Delaware Bay. I believe it bodes well for the future of tog fishing.
