Wednesday, we had one boat depart from Lewes Harbour Marina. The Katydid had a boat limit of sea bass.
No one answered the phone at Old Inlet Bait and Tackle. Not sure if the problem is their phone service or if they are closing early. I feel certain that tog are still biting on sand fleas and green crabs at Indian River Inlet
I received the same reception at Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m. I will be calling earlier on Thursday.
Most of my afternoon was spent at the Advisory Council on Summer Flounder, Scup and Black Sea Bass. While no final decisions were made, the council recommended, sort of, status quo on summer flounder and a liberalization of scup regulations for recreational fishermen. Black sea bass took the most time. Most wanted a liberalization for them as well, but a few weren鈥檛 sure.
