Friday saw small craft advisories up and few boats on the water.

Lewes Harbour Marina said while no charter or head boats ran on Friday a few private boats fish the Delaware Bay structure like the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers with sand fleas and green crabs to catch a few keeper tog.

Old inlet Bait and Tackle reported that the usual catch of small tog with a few keepers was made at he Indian River Inlet with sand fleas and green crabs the top baits. Striped bass that fall within the 28 to 31-inch slot have been caught on live eels at night from the Inlet. The end of the South Jetty and the area from the Inlet Bridge west along the campground to the end.

A young, 9-foot great white shark weighing 425 pounds has arrived off the coast of Assateague Island on her way sound for the winter.
