Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/28/25

Thanksgiving Day saw small craft advisories up and all of my reporting stations closed or closing early.

I expect a few hardy anglers fished Indian River Inlet and the ocean surf. Tog would have been the catch from the Inlet along with a few small stripers early in the morning from the end of the jetties. Sand fleas and green crabs for the tog with a white bucktail with a white worm for the stripers.

Surf fishermen found skates and spiney dog sharks interested in their cut mullet.

I am still getting reports from North Jersey of large schools of striped bass in the Raritan River and Bay on sand eels. They are also out in the ocean close to shore, but seldom close enough for surf casters to have a shot.

This is Eric Burnley with your Talk of Delmarva fishing report.
