With small craft advisories up on Saturday and right through Sunday plus heavy rain and flood advisories up for Sunday as well not too many folks will be fishing.

Old Inlet reported that a keeper rockfish was taken from the inlet early in the morning and shorts were caught during the day. White bucktails and leadheads with soft plastic Sassy Shads have been the lures of choice for rockfish. Tog fishing remains good with sand fleas and green crabs the prime baits. David Farkis had a keeper tog from the inlet. Jimi Labita released a 30-inch rockfish, although he did not give the exact location.

Down on Assateague Island David Moore caught two black drum and three rockfish to 43 inches.

Taylored Tackle in Seaford reported that Monroe Good caught a Delaware Citation crappie weighing 1.25 pounds out of Coursey Pond.
