Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 7-10-23

Monday was another good weather day.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Katydid had flounder and sea bass from ocean structure. Andrea Monetti and Mike caught 31 triggerfish from an undisclosed location on Sunday. Captain Keith on the Surface Tension had his party on some nice sheepshead on Sunday using Bottom Sweeper Jigs and sand fleas.

Also, on Sunday the Thelma Dale IV out of Fisherman’s Wharf with Captain Brin had to work with some funky ocean drifts, but still managed to bring on board 29 keeper flounder plus lots of shorts and quite a few keeper sea bass.

The Chasin’ Tail had the Eric Dunkin family out to ocean structure on Sunday and they caught a few nice flounder and a basket of sea bass.

At Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park they said a keeper striped bass was caught early on Monday afternoon.
