Water Main Repair Work Impacting Multiple Streets in Salisbury Today
As part of the City of Salisbury’s efforts to improve, repair, and maintain the Water Distribution System, The Department of Waterworks Utilities Division is repairing a water main today at 615 Homer Street. Homer Street is impassable from Route 13 to Johnson Street. This includes all through traffic and Emergency Vehicles. Work began around 9 a.m. and will conclude around 3:30 p.m. barring any unforeseen events. No street parking between Route 13 and Johnson Street is requested between these times.
Also, repair work is being done on a water main at 118 Second Street. Second Street will be impassable from Fitzwater Street to Hill Street, including all-through traffic and emergency vehicles. The work was scheduled to begin at 8:30 am and conclude around 3:30 pm, barring any unforeseen events. They kindly request no street parking between Fitzwater Street and Hill Street during these times.
