Traffic Stop Leads to Weapons & Drug Arrest Near Milton

A Milton man has been charged on a variety of offenses after a traffic stop Monday night just after 10 on Fisher Road near Milton. Delaware State Police stopped 25 year old Vincent Schlothauer for speeding and smelled marijuana coming from the car – and spotted what appeared to be burnt marijuana in plain view. A search of the vehicle turned up a concealed .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun with the serial number obliterated, over 45 grams of marijuana and drig paraphernalia. Schlothauer is charged with weapons and drug offenses and is free on an over $50,000 unsecured bond.
