Two Injured in Serious Crash on Route 50 Near Easton, MD


Two men were seriously injured earlier today in a three-vehicle crash on westbound Route 50 near Chapel Road in Easton. A 66-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries, and a 73-year-old man driving one of the other vehicles was also hurt. Both were flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Route 50 was shut down for several hours as Easton Police and the Maryland State Police CRASH Team investigated. Names are being withheld pending family notification, and anyone who saw the crash is asked to contact Easton Police at 410-822-1111.
