Harrington Police have arrested two juveniles – aged 14 and 17 – after an investigation into shots fired . Police from Harrington, Felton and State Police responded to Delaware Avenue after residents heard several shots fired. During a search of the area officers heard more shots and eventually located the 2 teens hiding in the bushes. The teens were arrested and police located a 20 gauge shotgun and 3 boxes of ammunition – police determined the two had fired off nearly 30 rounds – and were shooting towards homes on Delaware Avenue. Police learned that the shotgun was one of two stolen from a Harrington home about two months ago but the teens (the other gun has not been recovered). Both teens are charged with reckless endangering and other offenses by Harrington Police. State Police charged them with offenses related to the stolen guns.
