Unemployment in Delaware Remained Steady in February

Delaware’s unemployment rate from January to February remained steady at 5.4% while the national unemployment rate increased from 4.3% to 4.4%. The unemployment rate in Sussex County also remained steady at 5.8%.

The largest over-the-year job increase was in the Private Education and Health and Government sectors while the Leisure and Hospitality sector showed the largest over-the-year job loss.
