UPDATED 11/10/19 9:45am – The body of a 65 year old man whose boat ran aground at the southern end of Kent Island Thursday has been found. US Coast Guard officials tell WGMD that Maryland Natural Resources Police located the man’s body Saturday. Officials were called after a witness spotted the boat coming aground with fishing lines out. The boater’s phone was found on the boat and his truck and trailer found at a marina in Deale.
ORIGINAL STORY 11/8/19 : The search is on for a 65 year old Asian man whose boat was found aground on the southern end of Kent Island Thursday afternoon. A witness called the US Coast Guard after they spotted the boat coming slowly aground – running and with fishing lines out – and freshly caught fish onboard. A phone was discovered on the boat and the man’s truck and trailer found at a marina in Deale. Coast Guard and Maryland Natural Resources Police have been searching since Thursday afternoon.
