UPDATED: Salisbury Apartment Fire Injures 1
UPDATED 10am – A 22 year old woman was hospitalized for smoke inhalation after a fire Sunday evening at the Northpark Gardens Apartments on Glen Avenue in Salisbury. The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating to determine the cause of the fire which began inside the apartment. Officials say the fire was discovered by the occupant thanks to working smoke alarms. The investigation is continuing.
A fire in an apartment complex on Glen Avenue in Salisbury sent two people to the hospital. Salisbury firefighters were called to the Northpark Gardens Apartments just before 7:30 Sunday night where they found fire showing from a first floor apartment. Fire crews from Delmar were also on the scene.
