UPDATE: Vehicle Crash This Morning on Route 113 North of Millsboro

UPDATED 3:40 p.m. Delaware State Police tell the Talk of Delmarva that this morning a Honda Civic was driving northbound on Dupont Boulevard at Avenue of Honor. At the same time, a Ford Edge was driving southbound on Dupont Boulevard, turning left from Dupont Boulevard onto Avenue of Honor. As a result, the front of the Honda hit the passenger’s side of the Ford causing it to turn over on its side and hit a Ford F-150, that was westbound on Avenue of Honor, stopped for the red light at Dupont Boulevard.

The driver of the Honda, a 31-year-old woman from Georgetown, was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford Edge, a 53-year-old woman from Lincoln, was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She was cited for failing to yield the right of way when turning left. The driver of the F-150, a 52-year-old man from Delmar, was not injured.

The Talk of Delmarva has learned that on Route 113 at Avenue of Honor north of Millsboro, a crash occurred earlier this morning involving at least two vehicles, and one was on its side. Two patients were reportedly helped out of the vehicles and transported for treatment. The investigation is underway. The Talk of Delmarva will have more information as it becomes available.
