Volunteers Needed for 2019 Inshore Fish & Blue Crab Survey

Your help is needed to assist with the 2019 Inshore Fish and Blue Crab Survey.  The Delaware Center for Inland Bays is looking for volunteers and will hold a volunteer orientation on Monday, March 18 at 5pm at their offices on Inlet Road south of Dewey Beach – on the north side of the Indian River Inlet.  Surveys are done monthly from April through October and NO prior experience in needed.

New volunteers are encouraged to participate! Attendance at the orientation meeting is highly recommended, especially for those who are new to the program. The evening will include an introduction to the survey, safety information, and team assignments. Volunteers of all ages are welcome but anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
