Westover Man Sentenced to Life in Prison on Rape and Kidnap Charges

A 50 year old Westover man has been sentenced to life in prison plus 70 years by the Honorable S. James Sarbanes, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Wicomico County.
Damon Williamson was convicted of kidnapping, 2nd degree rape and attempted 1st degree rape in May after a two-day trial. He was arrested after sexually assaulting a female victim at the Chesapeake Inn in January of 2021 – and in February of 2021 he transported two female victims from East Salisbury to the area of the Industrial Park for the purpose of sexually assaulting each of them.
At the time of these offenses, Williamson was on parole for convictions for rape, aggravated assault and burglary out of the State of Pennsylvania.
