WGMD Fishing Report 10-13-21

Wednesday saw a slight improvement in the weather and two boats did make it out in spite of small craft warnings in the morning.   Thursday will see northwest winds at five to ten knots with seas running three feet.  On Friday the wind will be northwest at five knots and seas in the ocean will be two feet or less.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid ran on Wednesday returning with a mixed bag of flounder and sea bass.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em Burt told us the Captain Ike made it out to the ocean where they caught sea bass and bluefish.

The report from Old Inlet Bait and Tackle was small tog out of Indian River Inlet on sand fleas and green crabs.  The surf produced small red drum on bloodworms.

The weekend does not look promising.  A cold front will pass through bringing rain and wind on Saturday and just wind on Sunday.  That will give us a grand total of exactly two fishable days for the entire week.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
