WGMD Fishing Report 10-14-21

Thursday was a good weather day, but only a few boats had customers, so most of the fleet stayed at the dock.  Friday will be the best day of the week with north winds at five knots in the morning switching to southeast in the afternoon and seas in the ocean of two feet or less.  Saturday a cold front will approach bringing south winds of 15 to 20 knots with gusts of 30 and seas of three to four feet with thunderstorms.  I would expect higher seas, especially near the thunderstorms.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid did go out on Thursday and they brought in a catch of sea bass.  Amanda is having a big sidewalk sale on Friday, so stop by and stock up.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em the report was the Judy V had a decent number of sea bass on her half-day trip.  Several boats were over-nighting in the canyons and will return on Friday.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
