WGMD Fishing Report 10-17-21

Sunday felt like fall arrived as the wind had that chill we associate with that time of year.  That same fall wind had small craft advisories up and they will be up again on Monday as west winds blow 15 to 20 knots in the morning than turn to the northwest and increase to 20 to 25 with gusts to 30.  Seas in the ocean are expected to be three to four feet.  On Tuesday the wind will stay northwest at 15 to 20 and seas will remain at three to four feet.

I saw Burt from Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em at Butch Emmert’s Outdoorsman Auction and he confirmed what I already knew, no boats left Indian River Marina on Sunday.  On my way home I stopped by Lewes Harbour Marina and saw that all of the boats were safely tied to the dock.  I did see where Lewes Harbour Marina manager Tommy Serbin went fishing with Rockfish Ed and a friend on Thursday.  They hit an ocean reef site and caught sea bass, blues and porgies.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
