Thursday saw small craft advisories up in the afternoon and they will still be up on Friday morning for west winds at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 25 and three to five-foot seas.  Saturday will see northwest winds at ten knots and three-foot seas on the ocean.

I fished Indian River Inlet on Thursday morning during the last two hours of the incoming current.  I had a shad on every cast using a metal lure in front of a green shad dart.  I was just west of the bridge on the northside.

Burt at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported that the chunk bite was still excellent in the Washington Canyon.  The Jade II had 12, the Reel Precession had 17 and the Bill Slayer had five yellowfin tuna.  The Captain Bob II had some sea bass on Thursday.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid and the Angler both fished in Delaware Bay for tog.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told me the Inlet gave up some tog.  The tog hit sand fleas and green crab and most were too small to keep.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
