WGMD Fishing Report 10-25-21

Monday saw small craft advisories up and that will be the best day of the week. Gale warnings are up for Tuesday and Wednesday with five-to-eight-foot seas on Tuesday and six-to-nine-foot seas on Wednesday. It doesn’t get any better right through Friday.

I do have some reports left over from the weekend. The Mike Wayland party on the Top Fin caught good numbers of tog. The Surface Tension had eight tog with Kate the pool winner. Phuong Nguyen took over third place in the Lewes Harbour Marina Tog Tournament with his 5.49 pounder.

Team DMS 1 took second place in the Ronald Bounds Memorial Surf Tournament put on by the Assateague Mobile Surf-Fishermen Association.

In Delaware, Kelsey Cycyk won the top prize in the Woman’s Division of the DMS Surf Tournament. She took home $300 and a trophy. Logan Wierzbicki took top honors in the youth division winning a rod and reel and a trophy sponsored by Rick’s Bait and Tackle.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
