WGMD Fishing Report 10-28-21

At least the sun was out on Thursday, but that didn’t keep the wind down.  Small craft advisories were up and they will stay up until Friday morning when they will be replaced by gale warnings.  The wind will be east at 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 increasing to 25 to 30 knots with gusts to 45 in the afternoon.  Seas will build to six to eight feet than go to seven to ten feet.  There will be rain.  On Saturday the wind will move around to the south at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 and seas will be five to seven feet.  Showers are possible in the morning.  My guess is small craft advisories will be posted for Saturday.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said they continue to sell sand fleas and green crabs that their customers continue to feed to small tog at Indian River Inlet.  Others buy mullet, but so far, the shop had not had any reports from the beach.  The surf is just too rough with those strong east winds.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
