WGMD Fishing Report 10-29-21

Friday saw storm warnings up for the Delaware Coast as winds blew out of the east at 30 to 35 knots with gusts to 50 and seas in the ocean running 8 to 11 feet. Saturday will see winds move to the south at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 and seas in the ocean will be five to seven feet. Sunday the wind will shift again, this time to the west at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 and seas of three to five feet. The storm has flooded low lying areas and marshes so there will be lots of weeds and other trash in the water once the seas calm down.

I have no idea when the charter fleet will get back out on the ocean, but I don’t think it will be this weekend. Tog fishermen may be able to work the Ice Breakers and the Outer Wall at the mouth of Delaware Bay if they are very careful when they toggle off the rocks.

Fishing from the banks of the tidal creeks and rivers may be your best bet.
