Sunday saw small craft advisories up on the ocean, but a few boats were able to fish the bay. Monday winds will be northwest at 15 to 20 knots and seas in the ocean will be three to four feet. Tuesday the wind will drop out to north at five knots and the seas in the ocean will be around three feet.

As mentioned, Lewes Harbour Marina reported a few charter and private boats were able to fish Delaware Bay for tog. The Surface Tension and the Top Fin were both able to bring back good catches from the bay. I spoke with Captain Cary Evans on the Grizzly and he said he had a good day of tog fishing with the pool winner a 6.5 pounder.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they told me a few more keeper tog were caught out of Indian River Inlet on green crabs and sand fleas. Early morning and during the night some slot rockfish have been caught on live eels. Short rock are caught during the day on shad darts.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
