WGMD Fishing Report 11-1-21

Hermann-Financial

To the best of my knowledge, no one ventured out on the open bay or ocean on Monday. Tuesday will see northwest winds of at five to ten knots and seas of three feet with light rain in the afternoon. Wednesday the wind will continue from the northwest at 10 to 15 knots and seas will be three feet.

I stopped by Lewes Harbour Marina and jotted down the standings of their tog tournament. Frank Tucker is in first place with a 7.98 pounder while Chris Stielper is in second with his 6.32-pound tog. Kwan Chon holds down third with a 6.27 pounder.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle did say more keeper tog have been caught from Indian River Inlet on green crab. Randy Edwards had 16 and a 19-inch tog on outgoing water and James Albany had four keepers from the north side on Sunday. Small rockfish have been caught from the surf on cut bait.

Dan’s Tackle said white perch fishing has been good in the Broadkill River.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
