WGMD Fishing Report 11-10-19

Saturday was downright cold, but the wind stayed down and folks went fishing.  Sunday looks fishable at least for the larger boats as does Monday.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid had 16 tog and a sheepshead for his party.  The Portabella come back from ocean structure with a boat limit of 75 black sea bass.  The Angler brought in 15 tog.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em the report was good from the boats that went sea bassin’.  The Swordfish had a four-man limit of 60 sea bass and the Heavy Lifting had an eight-man limit of 120.  Several other boats also had limits.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported a run of 24 to 26-inch rockfish through the Inlet on Saturday morning.  A white bucktail with a white plastic worm was the hot bait.  A few 30-inch keepers were in the mix.  Tog fishing remains about the same at the Inlet.  Lots of shorts with a few more keepers every day.  Green crabs and sand fleas remain the top baits.  Surf fishing is still dead.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
