WGMD Fishing Report 11-11-21

build-a-better-community-OCMD

Thursday looked like the last good fishing day for a while so I went down to Indian River Inlet.  Small craft warnings are already up for Friday with south winds at 25 to 30 knots and gusts to 35 with seas running four to seven feet.  Saturday the wind will be out of the south at 10 to 15 knots gusting to 20 and seas will run three to five feet.

I arrived at the southside of the inlet around 8:30 AM and set up shop on the sidewalk in front of Harry and Dot’s bench.  On the way down I stopped by Old Inlet and they were doing a land office business selling sand fleas and green crabs.  I opted for the sand fleas.

Once I was setup with a top bottom rig baited with those very same fleas, I began having taps that turned into small tog.  That was it for me, but the two guys to my right did put a couple of keepers in their cooler.

Boats that fished ocean structure had limits of sea bass.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
