WGMD Fishing Report 11-17-21

Wednesday saw seas in the bay lay down enough for boats to fish around the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers.  Thursday won’t be that kind.  Small craft advisories are up for winds out of the southwest at 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 25 and seas of three to five feet on the ocean.  Friday it get’s worst.  Gale warnings will be up for winds out of the northwest at 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 and seas running four to six feet and rain in the morning.  Believe it or not, but the forecast for the weekend looks good right now.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid with Captain Brent did get out on Wednesday and he managed to catch some tog.  A few private boats also made the trip to bay structure and brought back tog.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle the report was a few short tog out of the inlet on sand fleas and green crabs.  They had heard nothing from the beach.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
