WGMD Fishing Report 11-26-19

Monday was nice but the fishing out of Delaware was not too good.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the boats that fished for tog caught very few.  Tuesday looks like another good weather day and hopes are high for better fishing.

Captain Monty Hawkins on the Morning Star out of Ocean City, Maryland did have a very good day of sea bass fishing.  His customers had a boat limit in an hour and a half of fishing.  I had a report from a private boat that fished the Del-Jersey-Land Reef on Saturday and did quite well.  They brought home 15 sea bass, two flounder and one porgy.

Those of you who plan to travel south for the Thanksgiving holiday can forward to good fishing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  Right now, they are catching big red drum as well as slot fish from the surf.  Sea mullet, that we call kings, are also in good supply.  The speckled trout run is exceptional!  Big fish and plenty of them are being caught from the surf and the sound.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
