Saturday saw small craft advisories up and they will be up again on Sunday when the wind will be northeast at 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 and seas will run six to eight feet. Monday the wind will stay out of the northeast at 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 dropping off to 10 to 15 with gusts to 20 in the afternoon. Seas will be four to six feet.

I checked conditions at the Delaware Lightship Buoy where the wind was 21.4 knots out of the northeast with gusts to 25 and seas running 7.5 feet on Saturday afternoon. The water temperature had dropped to 62.8 degrees. It will be interesting to see what is left out there when we finally get back to the ocean.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said they have been surprised by the number of people who have been fishing in this weather. Small blues were caught from the beach on cut bait and tog were taken out of the inlet on green crabs and sand fleas.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
