Summer arrived on Monday, but will be gone on Tuesday after a night of thunderstorms.  Spring-like weather is on tap for the next week or so and that ain’t bad.

On Sunday the Pappy’s Lady out of Fisherman’s Wharf in Lewes had some big tog for her party.  The Katydid is back in action and took a party from New Jersey out on Sunday bringing back some big tog.

On Saturday the Fish Bound out of Ocean City faced eight-foot seas and fog, but still managed to bring back one fish shy of a boat limit.

Lewes Ice House Bait and Tackle reported a black drum caught from the beach at Broadkill.  This fishery is just getting started so get some clams and give it a try.

Dan’s Tackle said Brennan and Colton showed up to show off their biggest white perch they caught out of the Broadkill River with their Poppop Mike Shatzer.

Clark at Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said the number of short rockfish caught from the surf on bloodworms has been higher than in recent years.
