Tuesday saw a little more southeast wind than what the National Marine Weather Service called for.  Seas that were supposed to be less than two feet were running somewhat higher, but boats that went out did come back with fish.  Wednesday is supposed to have light winds and seas of less then two feet.  Only time will tell.

At Lewes Harbour Marina the report was the Katydid with Captain Brent and Mate Chris come back from ocean structure with a boat limit of 120 black sea bass.  A few private boats also found good numbers of sea bass.

At Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park the report was flounder on Gulp! and kings and small rockfish on bloodworms.

On Memorial Day Josh Gorub, Rob Grieb and Ryan West all had one keeper flounder from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal.  Young Luke Wiest caught a 2.97-pound flounder from the canal on squid.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported the Judy V had sea bass on her half-day trip.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
