WGMD Fishing Report 6-18-19

Gary Hall, Brandon Brooks, Chris Debold, Sam Debold, Jake Levine, and Capt. Butch Brooks took the Jade II out to the Poormans on Saturday 6/15 and hooked up on some yellowfins. They used ballyhoo and spreader bars and landed 11 yellowfins and 1 mahi.

Baltimore Canyon was were the crew of Braveheart hooked up on their yellow fin tuna. Matt Voss, John Kagan and Capt. John, Mollie and Bryan Spillman brought in tuna up to 34lbs using plastics on spreader bars.

Monday was a beautiful summer day and people who fished from the pier at Cape Henlopen State Park caught spot, croaker and kings as did those who fished the surf.  Old Inlet told us croaker showed up at the Inlet on bloodworms.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em filled up my in box on Monday morning with reports from Saturday.  They reported yellowfin tuna catches from the Baltimore and Poorman’s canyons on ballyhoo and spreader bars.  The Jade II had 11 yellowfin and one dolphin.  High Tide went seven for twelve on yellowfins. The Last $ had seven yellowfins.  The Black Dog had seven yellowfins.  The 3 Amigos brought in nine yellowfins using Sterling Tackle lures. Geaux N Deep had seven yellowfins and eight dolphin.  Out of Control had 13 yellowfins.  No Limit was 18 for 37 on yellowfins.  Boy’s Toy had seven yellowfin to 52 pounds.  The Raven had a 168-pound bigeye on a purple and white sea witch.
