WGMD Fishing Report 6-3-21

The weather was not too good on the ocean and no one went out for sea bass on Thursday or if they did, they didn’t tell any of my reporting stations. Right now, Friday and Saturday don’t look to good on the ocean with seas of four to five feet, but Delaware Bay does look fine with seas of two feet or less.

If you have a boat, you should be able to fish the reef sites and perhaps catch some kings on bloodworms or Fish Bites. Flounder are also possible on minnows and Gulp! and a keeper trout just may show up as well. Try a yellow bucktail with a purple worm for the trout. Hey, that worked in 1980, no reason it shouldn’t work in 2021.

I do have a few reports left over from Wednesday. The Captain Ike had two bluefin from the deep. Captain Mark on the Savannah Lyn had 13 flounder between 22 and 26 inches on ocean structure. Surface Tension caught their two under and one over on ballyhoo behind Magic Tail side trackers.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
