So, it was a tad warm on Saturday, but despite dire warnings from every talking head on television, people still went outside and some even went fishing.

The biggest fish we heard of today was an 8.8-pound flounder caught by Bob Engler near B Buoy on a minnow and reported by Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em.

Dan’s Tackle Box said Jammie Mills had a 7.45-pound flounder out of Delaware Bay on Tuesday.

Blues have been in good supply in several locations.  Captain John Nedelka has been catching them along with some Spanish Mackerel trolling spoons at Fenwick Shoal.  Lewes Harbour Marina reported that Chad and Melissa Sweigart caught a limit of blues and one Spanish mackerel while celebrating their anniversary on the Strike Zone with Captain Chris.  They trolled Clark spoons behind #1 planers in the Delaware Bay near Cape Henlopen.

The Captain Ike out of the Indian River Marina had a good catch of tilefish on one trip to the canyons and dolphin to 28 pounds on another.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing Report.
