WGMD Fishing Report 8-13-19

Steve Redden, Pat Petrarus and Jeff Waxman fished on the “Priceless” along the beach at Fenwick Island and hooked up with some nice cobia. They weighed 47lbs and 30lbs and were caught using a zucchini colored Spro bucktail.

The weather was good on Monday but is scheduled to go downhill on Tuesday.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said Bob Quinn, Micky Williamson and Jason DeStafney had a limit of flounder over ocean structure.  Ricky Mills, Todd Mills and Jack Hendrick caught ten flounder over bay structure.

Deanna at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us a 12-pound king mackerel was caught at Fenwick Shoal.  Flounder action in the ocean remained good.

Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us spot fishing was good at high tide and flounder to 20 inches have also been taken from the pier.

According to their post on Saltfish, the No Wake fished the Ham Bone and caught seven dolphin on blue and white skirted ballyhoo.

Captain Steve Redden, Jr. was able to put his friend Jerry Kryspin on his first white marlin aboard the Valkyrie.  Dave Walker and his crew caught three cobia, 10 flounder, four Spanish mackerel and one king mackerel.
