Willards Man Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison

A Willards man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for child abuse and violation of probation. Judge James Sarbanes sentenced 35 year old Timothy White to 8 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to 2nd degree child abuse. Officials say at the time of his offense, White was on probation for a 2011 conviction for 1st degree assault and White was sentenced to 12 years for the violation of probation. The two terms are to run consecutively. Last May White physically abused an infant under the age of one causing multiple bruises. His 2011 conviction was also an assault on an infant.
