Wilmington Man Arrested in Dover with 650 Bags on Heroin

Dover Police have arrested a Wilmington man on numerous drug charges after he was found with hundreds of bags of heroin.

Police say at 12:04 a.m. on Wednesday morning they contacted a group of people in the area of East Loockerman Street and South New Street. The suspect fled from officers on foot but was taken into custody a short time later. A search of the area where the suspect fled to uncovered 650 bags of heroin.

28-year-old Kwame Redmon of Wilmington was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Heroin, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Resisting Arrest and Drug Paraphernalia. He was committed to SCI in Georgetown in default of 62,000 dollars cash bond.
