UPDATED: Woodland Ferry Maintenance Closure Extended to October 9

UPDATED – 09/21/26 – The Woodland Ferry remains out of service for maintenance work.  DelDOT officials say the ferry near Seaford is now expected to return to service on Friday, October 9th.

ORIGINAL STORY – 09/11/26 – DelDOT officials have announced the Woodland Ferry is again closed for maintenance until Monday, September 21st. Drivers should seek alternate routes for the duration.
