Youth Turkey Hunt in DE kicks off Spring Turkey Season

Spring Turkey season coming up in Delaware. The season runs from April 14^th to May 12^th, there is also a special hunt for kids aged 10-15 and wheelchair bound hunters that takes place tomorrow, April 7^th. Hunting hours are from a half hour before sunrise until 1 PM. Only bearded turkeys can be taken, and all harvested birds must be checked at an authorized turkey check station by 2:30 PM on the day of the hunt. The bag limit is one turkey per hunter each year.
