Bill to Allow Some Fireworks in DE Returns to State House

Amended legislation that would permit some fireworks in Delaware has passed in the State Senate.  The measure is limited ONLY to allow ground-based and hand-held sparklers and certain other nonexplosive, non-airborne novelty items regulated by the federal government to be sold and used in the State.  You must be 18 or older to purchase them and the fireworks are limited in use to July 4th and December 31st of each year and sales are limited to the 30 days prior to the allowable use day.  HB 53 returns to the State House for consideration.
