Dover Woman Charged in Assault of Boyfriend

A Dover woman has been arrested after she assaulted her boyfriend. Delaware State Police were called to a Kentwood Drive home around 4 Saturday morning for a domestic incident. The 32 year old male victim was found outside the home with an apparent stab wound. Police learned that the victim and 35 year old Lenquesha Whitehurst were arguing when she grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim. A 13 year old child was also in the home during the incident. Whitehurst is charged with 1st degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She is free on an unsecured bond.
