Laurel Man Arrested for Vehicle Theft and other Offenses

A man wanted for burglary and theft of a motor vehicle has been arrested by Delaware State Police.  Police located 43 year old Ronald Hastings of Laurel in the Delmar area where he was arrested.  Police were called to Woodland Ferry Road for a suspicious vehicle complaint on November 21st – they found that Hastings removed a disabled van by towing it with the property owner’s vehicle.  A similar incident was reported the same day on Susan Beach Road.  Both disabled vehicles were sold to scrap yards.  Hastings is charged with 2nd and 3rd degree burglary, vehicle theft and multiple other offenses. He’s free on an unsecured bond.
