Lewes Man Sentenced for Sexually Assaulting a Child

The Delaware Attorney General’s Office reports that 33-year-old Brandon Brennan of Lewes has been sentenced for a 2018 incident in which he sexually assaulted a young girl.

Deputy Attorney General Rebecca Anderson says in June of 2018, Brennan was staying at a friend’s home because he was too intoxicated to drive home. Sometime during the night, he entered the friend’s child’s bedroom and inappropriately touched her.

In March of this year, Brennan pleaded guilty to Unlawful Sexual Contact in the First Degree. He has been sentenced to 1 year in prison followed by 1 year of home confinement and 5 years of probation. He was register as Tier III sex offender, and receive sex offender, mental treatment and substance abuse treatment.
