One person injured yesterday after a Worcester County School Bus crashes. Maryland State Police say around 5:45 PM a school bus was stopped and dropping off students on Route 113 near Porters Crossing Road. A car did not see stopped vehicles and rear ended an SUV in front of it. The collision’s momentum took the vehicles into the bus carrying children from Snow Hill Elementary and Middle Schools. None of the children were injured, although the driver who was rear-ended was taken to Atlantic General Hospital for treatment. The driver at fault was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision and failure to stop for a stopped school bus.
