WGMD Fishing Report 3-10-19

The weather on Saturday was as good as you could hope for in early March, but I could not find a single fishing report on line.  Perhaps there will be some on Sunday.

It is not too soon to start getting your boat ready for the fishing season.  Mine has been sitting since early fall and I suspect it will take a trip to the service shop to get it ready for flounder fishing.

This weekend will be the Saltwater Fishing Expo in Edison, New Jersey.  The Expo is held in the Raritan Center, a huge facility directly off of Exit 10 of the New Jersey Turnpike.  If you take the Delaware Memorial Bridge to I-295 to I-195 to the turnpike north to Exit 10 you will save considerable toll money.

The Expo has more saltwater fishing stuff that any other show I know of and is well worth getting a couple of fishing buddies together to make a day of it.  Believe it or not, but you will find some good bargains on fishing tackle even in New Jersey.
