Gale stopped by on Monday and pretty much put a stop to everyone’s fishing plans.  Tuesday doesn’t look much better, but the middle of the week shows promise.

On Sunday the Lewestown Lady out of Fisherman’s Wharf ran for tog and ended the day with a slow pick.  The Porgy IV out of Cape May reported the same result for their Sunday trip.  The Fish Bound out of Ocean City Maryland had 18 tog to 16.7 pounds and released females to 13.6 pounds.

Dan’s Tackle reported that Tyler caught a black drum from Broadkill Beach.  He did not disclose the bait, but I would suspect it was a fresh clam.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina told us Taylor Deemer, Keith Beebe, Mason Newsham and Taylor Culver had a good catch of white perch at Petersfield Ditch on Sunday to Taylor Deemer’s citation winning 1.33 and 1.03 pounders.

The Lewes Ice House reported a customer told them about a 35-inch rockfish caught at Cape Henlopen State Park on Sunday.
