Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/31/25

Thursday, we got just what we needed, more wind and rain.

Steve Kuhlman fished Site 11 earlier in the week and caught over 100 sea bass for four keepers, plus a tog that he released, six sea robins, one dogfish and two small croakers. He was also able to remove four plastic balloons from the water.

Hook em’ and Cook ‘em told us that Cody Reeves fished on the Captain Bob, also earlier in the week, and he caught a citation black sea bass and his first keeper flounder of the season. They also told us that on Friday one boat ran up to Delaware Bay and returned with three black drum.

Flip N Fins caught a 6-pound flounder near Fenwick Island on a white bucktail sweetened with Gulp!, squid and a shiner.

Old Inlet reported blues and stripers during incoming water on swimshads and metal.
