Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/05/25
I hope everyone had a great July 4th and it seems the fishing was pretty good.
When I spoke with Lewes Harbour Marina, they were so busy cleaning fish they could not give be a detailed report.
Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told me the Judy V and the Captain Bob had better numbers of sea bass and flounder on Friday. Several private boats ran to the deep and returned with yellowfin tuna. On Thursday, the No Limit had a boat limit of sea bass and seven big flounder.
Greg Allen drifted sand fleas at Indian River Inlet to catch a 30-inch striper and a 20-inch sheepshead.
Wayne Hopkins and his son fished Mid-Delaware Bay where his son caught a 19-inch trout on a high-low croaker rig baited with bloodworm.
Captain Brin from Fisherman’s Wharf reported good flounder fishing.
