Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/01/25
Friday saw a gale warning as promised. Saturday will be almost as bad, but Sunday looks good. I鈥檓 sure the preacher or priest will forgive you if you miss church on Sunday because it will be the only day all week that the weather will allow you to go fishing.
As I am sure you have guessed, no boats left Lewes or Indian River on Friday.
I did have a report, with a photo, of two anglers who fished the Old Grounds during the last calm spell. They caught their limit of sea bass plus a few small flounder. I was surprised, because I thought the larger sea bass would have been further offshore.
Another report with photo from anglers who caught some 15 or so pound black drum outside of Indian River Inlet last week. Once again, I was surprised that anyone could get through the Inlet.
